67th ANNUAL COINARAMA JULY 13 and 14, 2024

THE NUMBER OF AWARDS GIVEN WILL BE DEPENDENT ON THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS. SENIOR AND JUNIOR (UNDER 18) BEST OF SHOW, PEOPLE’S CHOICE, AND 1ST TIME EXHIBITOR AWARDS MAY BE MADE. JUDGING WILL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Relative amount of numismatic information that may be obtained from the exhibit, 30 points. Originality, Neatness, and Effectiveness of ideas employed in arrangements, 30 points. Range, Scope, and Variety of coverage in material displayed, 15 points. Public Appeal – will the viewer stop to absorb it all, 15 points. Relative condition of the material displayed, 10 points.
APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UP TO THURSDAY, JULY 11th OR UNTIL AVAILABLE SPACE IS FULLY UTILIZED. EXHIBIT APPLICATION FORMS RECEIVED AFTER JULY 11th WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE EXHIBIT CHAIRMAN. REMEMBER THAT THE NUMBER OF AWARDS WILL BE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED.
REQUIREMENTS: COMPETITIVE EXHIBITORS MUST BE A MEMBER OF A COUNCIL CLUB FOR AT LEAST 3 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE COINARAMA. JUNIOR EXHIBITORS ARE REQUIRED TO SET UP THEIR OWN EXHIBITS WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION OR ASSISTANCE. THE EXHIBIT MUST HAVE ALL MATERIAL INSIDE THE CASE. EXHIBITORS ARE LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF 5 CASES PER EXHIBIT. COUNCIL CASE DIMENSIONS ARE 33” WIDE X 21” DEEP X 2 I/2” HIGH. EXHIBITS MUST BE PLACED BETWEEN 8 AM AND 9:30 AM ON THE 13TH. THEY MAY NOT BE REMOVED BEFORE 3 PM ON THE 14TH. Although security is provided at the convention site, the exhibitor releases the Council, its officers and workers of any liability for loss or damage of any material.
